Doc was born in 1896. He was the son of George Musick and Susie Yeary. He passed away in 1960.

In 1920, George, age 65, and Susie, age 55, live in Yocum Station, Lee Co., VA. He owns his farm. At home is Ollie, age 30 and Dock, age 23. Dock is a laborer in a lumber mill. At home are Mildred, age 3 and Joe H., age 7 months.

In 1950, Doc, age 53 lives with his sister Ollie Ely, age 60, and her husband Hop (Charles Ely), age 64. Doc's marital status is married but Ollie Eugenia lives in Richmond, VA. His occupation is listed as Unable to work.

Doc Musick dies in Warwick VA. Doc Musick, 63 died in a Warwick, VA. hospital at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 23, after a short illness. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Ollie Musick Richmond VA. and one daughter, Mrs. Mildred Burton, Warwick, and one son, Joe Musick with the U.S. Army, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, at the Green Hill Methodist Church, near Dryden, VA. The Rev. Insko and the Rev. Kea officiated. Burial was in Hobbs Cemetery, near the church.
