Daniel Myers and his wife had nine children: Elijah, Tempa, Isabella, Mary, Frank, Daniel A., Josiah, Thomas and William. [1]
History of Daviess County, Indiana claims that Daniel's father was killed in the Revolutionary War. [2] but that seems off because Daniel was born in 1795. Perhaps it was Daniel's paternal grandfather? Dorothea's father served in the Revolutionary War but wrote a will about 1805.
The marriage assumed to be that of Daniel and Mary is transcribed on Ancestry as "Daniel Myers and Polly Thorning".
