Biography

Marie Marcelline Naud was born and baptized on 18 May 1843 in Saint-Joseph parish in Deschambault, Bas-Canada. She was the daughter of Olivier Naud, farmer, and Marguerite Paquet of this parish. Sponsors at Marcelline's baptism were Zéphirin Hamel and Marcelline Dufresne; both sponsors signed the register..

At age 22 Marcelline married Olivier Cloutier on 21 Nov 1864 in Saint-Alban parish in Portneuf, Canada East. There were eight known children born into this marriage.

Marcelline died at age 82 on 21 Apr 1926 in Sainte-Thècle parish in Champlain, Québec, Canada; she was buried two days later on 23 Apr in Sainte-Thècle parish cemetery.
