Biography

Jeanette Marie Naud was born in Smiths Falls in 1909. She was the daughter of Anson Naud and Olivina Larocque. She married John J. McGuire.

Jeanette Marie (Naud) McGuire passed away in hospital, Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday, November 28, 1979, after a short illness, in her 71st year. Wife of Dr. John J. McGuire and mother of Patricia (Mrs. Judge Douglas Bernstein) of Haileybury, Christine (Mrs. Dr. John Fagan) and Sheila Robinson of Peterboro; Rosemary McGuire of Toronto; Veronica Ann (Mrs. Mardy Hannan) of Cochrane; Dr. Hugh McGuire of Toronto; Dr. John J. McGuire of King City, Peter McGuire of Ottawa and Michael and Paul McGuire of Smiths Falls. Also survived by 16 grandchildren. Sister of the late Arthur, John and Dr. Henry Naud.

Resting at The Blair and Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St N, Smiths Falls. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Francis de Sales Church, Smiths Falls on Saturday. December 1. Interment St Francis de Sales Parish Cemetery.^[1]
