Biography

James Vincent Nevell was born on 18 November 1827 in New South Wales, Australia, the son of Elizabeth Nevell and John Nevell.^[1]

He was baptised on 30 January 1828 at Holy Trinity Church in Kelso, New South Wales.^[1]

He married Mary Aldridge in 1849.^[2][1] Their children were:^[1]

• Kezia Nevell (1856–1912)
• Ann Emma Nevell (1858–1919)
• Elizabeth “Bessie” Nevell (1860–1882)

James died on 13 December 1910 at his home, Carwell, in Rylstone, New South Wales, aged 83 years.^{[1][3] [4]}
