Harriet Northwood was born in St Martins, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England on 12th May 1843. She is the daughter of Samuel Northwood and Hannah Hammer and was baptized in St Martins, Birmingham on 9th June 1843. In 1851 she was living with her parents and siblings in Sherlock Street, Birmingham and in 1861 she was a dressmaker, living with her widowed mother in Sherlock Street. Harriet married Thomas Kimberley (a factors clerk) on 8th August 1864 in St Bartholomews, Edgbaston, Birmingham and they had about 13 children, She passed away in Solihull, Warwickshire, England early in the year 1921.
