Cornelius Norwood is a part of US Black heritage.
Cornelius was born in 1876. He was the son of Cornelius Norwood and Mary Johns.
In the 1880 census Cornelius (age 7) was the son of Neil Norwood in Precinct 1, Hays, Texas, United States.[1]
Cornelius married Virginia Holland on 27 December 1893 in Hays, Texas, United States.[2]
In the 1900 census Virgil (age 24), Day Laborer, was the married head of household in New Braunfels, Comal, Texas. Wife Virginia, two children.[3]
In the 1910 census Cornelious (age 33), Overseer, was the married head of household in Justice Precinct 1, Hays, Texas, United States. Wife Jennie, 7 children.[4]
In the 1920 census N (age 46), Farmer, was the married head of household in Justice Precinct 4, Johnson, Texas. Wife Virginia, 6 children.[5]
Cornelius died on 3 February 1934 and was buried in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma, United States.[6]
