Biography

Methetable was born the 10th of August, 1732, in Wethersfield.^[1] Mehetabel was baptized Aug 13, 1732, in Wethersfield, daughter of Gershom Nott.^[2].

Mehitable married Joseph Webb on Feb 2, 1748/9 in Wethersfield.^[3]. Mehitabel and Joseph had six children.

Silas Deane married Mehetable Webb on Oct. 8, 1763, in Wethersfield, Connecticut. ^[4] Silas and Mehetable had Jesse.

Mehitable died the 13th of October, 1767, in Wethersfield, Hartford county, Connecticut.^[5]

Notice of Mehitable's death appeared as follows: "Hartford, October 19 - Last Tuesday departed this life, at Weathersfield, of a lingering consumption, Mrs. Mahitabel Deane, wife of Mr. Silas Deane, of that place.^[6]
