THE UNLEY TRAP ACCIDENT

Death of Mrs. Stephens.

Charlotte Elizabeth Stephens, who with her daughter met with a serious trap accident in Hart avenue, Unley, on July 13, died at the Unley Hospital on Tuesday. Deceased was in a vehicle which was being driven by Miss Blanche Stephens and two other ladies were also passengers. The pony became frightened by the shooting and singing of au number of cadets on tramcar and bolted. In Hart avenue the trap collided with a treeguard, and the whole of the occupants were thrown out. Mrs. and Miss Stephens were so badly hurt that they were removed to the Unley private hospital, where, in the case of the mother, complications followed the injuries. Miss Stephens is still an inmate of the hospital. Mrs Stephens was the wife of Mr. T. L. Stephens, who has a business in Pirie street, Adelaide.
