Lydia was born in 1825, in Cambridgeshire, England.

She married Timothy Pridmore. Their sons were William T Pridmore (1857-1910) and Joseph O Pridmore (1858-1952).

She married Robert Alexander in 1873, in Utica, Oneida, New York, United States.

In the 1875 census Robert (age 58) was in Utica Ward 03, Oneida, New York, United States with his wife Lydia, and stepsons William and Joseph.^[1]

She passed away in 1894, aged 68 years in Rochester, Monroe County, New York, United States and was buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica, Oneida, County, New York, United States. ^{[2] [3]}
