Biography
Edward was the son of Washington Ozburn and Sarah "Sadie" Duke.
He was born in Silver Cliff, Colorado where he met his future wife, Sarah Jane Sanders. Sarah's family came from Canada to Westcliffe in 1893. He married Sarah on June 21, 1899 in Westcliffe.
In 1899 he worked for his father as the deputy county[Custer county] treasurer. He continued in this line of work. He worked in the state treasury office in Denver as the cashier.
Sarah and Ed had two children. Arloa and Arline Elizabeth.[1]
