DEBORAH PARRIS MATTESON

DEBORAH PARRIS was born on 16 February 1770, at Williamstown, Berkshire, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America. She was the daughter of ELKANAH PARRIS and GRACE MOTT.

She married ISHMAEL MATTESON, born on 18 January 1772, at West Greenwich, Kent County, Rhode Island. He was the son of DELIVERANCE COMSTOCK and JOB MATTESON.

ISHMAEL MATTESON, Ishmael was an early settler on the farm now owned by Henry B. Kelly. He was a native of Williamstown, Massachusetts. He married DEBORAH, daughter of Elkanah Parris and raised a family of eight children. He died in 1839.

Bishop, and died in 1831; Sarah married John Pollard. She died in 1843; Elias married Tryphena Hitchcock, and first settled in Rupert, and afterward in Middlebury, Vermont.
