Elizabeth was born about 1753. She was the daughter of Obadiah and possibly Agnes (Gilliam) Patteson. She passed away in 1837.

Obituary

Died on the 16th inst. in this place, Mrs. Elizabeth Gilliam, relict of Mr. Charles Gilliam, dec’d in the 85th year of her age. She had been more than 40 years a worthy and acceptable member of the M. E. Church; and her surviving relatives and friends have the consolation of believing that she now “rests from her labors”.[11]
