Biography

Lillborn was born in 1783. He was the son of Littleberry and Matilda (Smith) Patteson. He passed away in 1817.

1814: Alexander and Lillborn bought "Clover Hill" property from Sadler^[1], both absent from Personal Property Tax list in Prince Edward.
1815: Lillborn Patteson has 4 horses.^[2]
1816: Lillborn Patteson lived in the "high end" of the county (Prince Edward) as he was recorded on the same day as some Wrights (including Pryor), Webbs, and Watkins. He owned no horses, but owned a "Gigg" valued @ $0.50. He wasn't assessed for an Ordinary license, and Alexander was absent from Prince Edward and Buckingham.^[3]
1817: Lillborn's wife Jane Patteson is next to Alexander Patteson in the list. Whereas Lillborn had no horses the year before, Alexander has 27.^[4]
