Biography

Betsey was born about 1784.

• 1850 US Census, Maysville, Buckingham, Virginia^[1]Betsey was 66, living with her daughter, Mary who was 30 and her husband Joseph who was 31. They had 5 children, ages range from 0 to 10 years old.

• 1860 US Census, Buckingham, Virginia^[2]Betsey is 77, living with her daughter, Polly (Mary), age 44 and her husband, Joseph, age 42. They have 6 children, ages range from 0 t0 18.

NOTE: Her parents could possibly be David and Judith Patteson, however, there is no proof to this. There is only a Family Bible that relates to her birth.
