Emigrated to the United States 1872.^[1]

He married at the age of 24 on 14 Jun 1876 Julia Hansson, age 28, in Lowell, Massachusetts; occupation box maker.^[2]

The marriage record calls him "Pher August Petterson" and lists his parents as Peter M and Nella; Julia's parents are listed as Hans and Anna B.

Could not find them (easily) in 1910; should be in Lowell.

In 1920, Augut and Julia were living on Nottingham Street in Lowell. With them was her brother Adolph Hansen.^[4] He was still working in a box making factory.

He died in 1923.^[5]

Julia died in 1927.
