Biography

Lars was born in 1864. He was the son of Peter Dinisson and Boel Jönsdotter. Lars was only a few weeks old when his father died and he grew up in Arrie with his mother and siblings. In 1879, he left home and moved to Hököpinge. In 1883, he returned to his mother's household in Arrie. At that time, he is listed as a journeyman smith and had taken the family name Anderberg. The following household record notes that he was excused from military service due to illness. In 1887, he left for America. In the passenger list he is listed as Lars Anderberg, smith.
