Carl (Petersson) Carlson lived in Sweden
Carl was born on 7 November 1843. He was the son of Peter Carlsson and Cathrina Mårtensdotter. He and his family left Sweden for the United States in 1853.[1]
He enlisted in the Union army on 14 August 1862. He was a private in Co. E, 127th Illinois Infantry. He mustered out on 5 June 1865.[2]
In 1870, he was living with his father in Westchester Township, Porter County, Indiana.[3]
In 1880, he was a farmer in Westchester Township, living with his wife Anna and their children.[4]
He passed away on 15 April 1900.[5]
