Star-Telegram Obituary 25 APR 2012. Fort Worth, Tarrant, Texas, United States. Note: Juanita Parsons (1906 - 2012). Juanita Parsons, 105, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 202012. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, at Thompson's Harveson and Cole where her family will greet friends beginning at noon. Charles Johanson, minister of San Pedro Church of Christ in San Antonio, will officiate. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery. Juanita was a former member, for many years, at Southside Church of Christ. She has spent her last 30 years attending Lakewood Village Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Henry Parsons; parents, James and Dora Phares; and sons, Jimmy Carl Parsons and Michael Allen Parsons.

Survivors: Her daughters, Bettie Parsons Parker, Carlynne Parsons Collins and Jenna Parsons; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Published in Star-Telegram on April 25, 2012.
