Biography

Richard was born in Farnham, Surrey on 24 May 1869. He is the son of Richard Pharo and Sarah Slingo.

Richard worked variously as a carter, a plumber's labourer and a labourer.

In 1891, he married Ellen Deadman and they would become the parents to 10 children. They were life long residents of Farnham, and Richard died there on 17 January 1950.
