Carl and Johanna (Bille) Platte lived in Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois. From the first record found in 1870 until the death of Vera Marie (Herget) Platte in 2013, the surname, "Platte" was found in Peoria, Illinois. Although there are Platte descendants living in Peoria in 2024, the surname is no longer found in Peoria.
