Note: Mr. Hoyle Franklin Plott, 77, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at Transitional Health Care Services following a period of declining health. Services will be private and interment will be will be private in Rockingham. Mr. Plott was born Feb. 2, 1930 in Cabarrus County the son of the late Hugh Plott and the late Gertrude Fink Plott. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was of the Presbyterian Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lily Ester Black Plott. Survivors include his sister, Margaret Biles of Concord and brothers, Ned Plott of Concord and Coy Plott of Charlotte. He is also survived by nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Transitional Health Care and Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County for their kindness shown to Mr. Plott and his family during his illness. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Boy Scout Camp Road, Kannapolis, 28081. Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the family of Mr. Plott.
