Lammetje Polhemius was born Itamarca, Pernambuco, Brazil.
She and her siblings and mother arrived in New Amsterdam in 1656 - Emigration record for Catharina: [1] In the Gilded Otter Left Amsterdam shortly after June 14, 1656 Skipper, Pieter Jansz Amilius Arrived at New Amsterdam September 5, 1656
She was wife of Johannes Willemse as can be seen by the deed of December 1702 involving the co-heirs of Lammetje's mother. Details and document image on her brother Daniel Polhemius' profile. [2]

19 Dec 1702 Theo Polhemius, John Seabring, "Johannes Williamse", Cornelius Van Wyck deed land to Daniel Polhemius that had originally been granted to Rev Johannes Polhemius 25 Jan 1662 by Governor Peter Stuyvesant. At 6 March 1674 John Sebring bought land originally granted to Cornelius Swartwood in 1662. These lands now all deeded over to Daniel Polhemius. [3]

Polhemus-90 and Polhemius-26 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. The later birth 1648 in Flatbush, Kings, New York, United States is more prevalent among matches, and makes more sense than 1639 in Brazil. Thanks!
