Robert Porterfield was born about 1802 in South Carolina.[1][2]
He married Harriet Baldwin on 31 December 1840.[3]
Research Notes
Marriage transcription has a W as Robert's middle initial, but a review of the original marriage record shows it could be an M or a W. The 1850 census more clearly has an M as his middle initial.
