Biography

Daughter of Edward Price, a farmer from Portneuf, Quebec, and Jane Dean, wife of John Crump Hemsworth, whom she married on the 30th of December 1873 at the Church of England in Melbourne, Quebec and with whom she had children; William John, Alfred Godfrey Crump, George Edward, Gertrude Jane, Thomas Henry, Eva May, Elizabeth Maud and Hazel Lilly Hemsworth.

After the death of her husband John, she married William George May, a widower, and the family moved to Provencher, Manitoba to farm. She died in Winnepeg in 1916.
