Biography
Joshua was born in 1768. The son of John Priestman and Barbara Procter.
Joshua married Hannah Hopkins on 19 September 1792 in Malton, Yorkshire, England.[1]
Joshua lived at Thornton all his life, following his father John at the corn mill, and occupied Brook Cottage, While his younger brother Joseph had the tannery and lived at Beckside.
In the 1841 census Joshua (age 73) was in Thornton Dale, Yorkshire, England.[2]
Joshua's death was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1844 in the Pickering district.[3]
