He was born 13 APR 1871 in Svetlice, Bohemia^[1]

Marriage

It is assumed he married in Bohemia based on the immigration data and the fact his oldest daughter was born in Bohemia. Additionally, his father moved into the village of Vresnik in 1891. The Trebon digital records for Zeliv, the parish for Vresnik, do not show any marriage in Zeliv. The marriages for Vresnik are not digitized. It appears the marriage index for the whole district from 1890 to 1949 are held in the Humpolec Registry Offices.

The 1900 census states they were married 6 years - or 1894 which would coincide with birth of their first child. The date shown in this profile came from records of his granddaughter.
