John was born in 1872. He passed away in 1951.
Sturgis, Jan. 30 --- Funeral services for John William Pullins, Faith man who died in a Deadwood hospital Sunday, will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the H. O. Anderson and Son funeral chapel.
Rev. Reuben Tanquist will officiate and burial will be made in the Faith cemetery.
Pullins was born in Indiana Dec. 29, 1872. He was married to Rachel Leach on Aug. 14, 1895, at Rensellar, Ind. The couple moved to Geddes where they lived until 1914, then moved to Faith where they homesteaded.
In 1941 Mrs. Pullins died and on Feb. 14, 1946, Pullins was married to Ottolyne Fish at Phoenix, Ariz.
Survivors include his widow, five sons, Earl, Mud Butte; James, Reno, Nev.; William, Arthur, Neb.; Charles, Lead, and Joseph, Sturgis; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Mae Dyvig, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Bertha Strohecker, Faith; 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
