Biography

Agnes Purves was born in 1715 in Bunkle and Preston, Berwickshire. She married Zerubbabel Haig Forson on 1 May 1740 in Melrose, Roxburghshire. They had seven children in 18 years. She died in 1798 in Melrose, Roxburghshire, having lived a long life of 83 years, and was buried there.
