Biography

Elizabeth, the daughter of Abraham Ramer[1] and Mary Williams, was born in Canada West (Ontario) on 8 Jun 1850.[2] Their family lived in Markham, Canada West (Ontario).[3][4]

Elizabeth (age 17) married David Meyer (age 21) on 17 February 1867 in York, Ontario.[1]Their children were:

Their family lived in Markham, Ontario and David worked as a carpenter[21][22][23][24] and contractor.[25][26]

Elisabeth died (age 81) on 21 September 1931 in Markham, York, Ontario[2] and was buried in the Burial Elmwood Cemetery in Markham, York, Ontario.[27]

Gravestone inscription: "In Memory of David Meyer Mar. 18. 1845. Aug. 11. 1922. His Wife, Elizabeth Ramer June 8. 1850. Sept. 21. 1931."[27]
