Biography

Margaret was born in 1775 and baptised 17th Aug 1778 St John the Baptist Margate, Kent.^[1] She was the daughter of Gibon Rammell and Mary Wootton. She married Aeneas Jame Birnie 16th Mar 1797 at St John the Baptist, Margate. ^[2]She passed away 10th Jan 1859 and was buried in Rusholme^[3].

Mentioned in father's will Gibbon Rammell written 19th Dec 1791.^[4]

Mentioned in uncle Thomas Rammell's will proved 9th May 1803. Described as niece & dau of Gibon Rammell.^[5]

Mentioned in uncle's will Henry Wootton, written 27th Aug 1815. Described as Margaret Birnie.^[6]
