Biography

Died of suicide by hanging. Kim was a very talented drawer, regularly crafting impressive illustrations of characters like Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse for her young relatives. She was also a very adept cook who made most things from scratch.

Obituary

Hays -- Kimberly Eback, 38, Hays, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at her home.

Mrs. Eback was born June 25, 1961, at Smith Center. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by a son, Trevor Dobson.

Survivors include her husband, Steve of the home; three sons, Tyler Dobson of Hays, and Trenton King and Andrew King, both of Coffeyville; a daughter, Leigha Jackson of Plainville; a stepdaughter, Kerri Eback of Hays; her mother, Karen Younger of Hays; three brothers, Raymond Younger of Modesta, Calif., William Younger of Seattle and Michael Younger of Hays; four sisters, Juanita "Nita" Younger of Clifton, N.J., Kathleen Wudarczyk of Norfolk, Va., Deborah Hathcock of Modesta and Denise Purdy of Hays; and a grandchild.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 20th and Pine, Hays 67601, the Rev. Bill Miller officiating. Inurnment will be in Plainville Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for her children.
