Biography

Jessie Pearl Raney was born in Mulberry, Crawford County, Arakansas^[1] on the 7th of Sep, 1901^[2][1] to George Raney^[1] and Caroline Cook^[1][3][4]; the youngest of their 4 children.

In 1910 her father continued to farm in a home they rented; in the home were GW Raney(46 head), CL Raney(50 Wife), Jessie Raney(8 Daughter), and Hilder Raney(3 Granddaughter)^[3]

In 1920 he was living in Poteau, Le Flore County, Oklahoma and working as meter reader for the gas company. In the home were Ed W Raney(36 head), Aveyluce Raney(26 Wife), Hilda May Raney(13 daughter), John E Raney(0 Son), Jessie P Raney(18 sister), and Caroline L Raney(59 mother)^[5].

She would marry Claude Bell on the 29th of February, 1920 in Le Flore County, Oklahoma^[6] and they would have:

1. Claude Harold Bell(1921-1921)
2. Charles Edwin Bell(1923-2004)^[7][8][9]
3. Donna Sue Bell(1928-2014)^[8][9])^[10]

In 1930 she was living on Walter Street in Poteau, Le Flore County, Oklahoma. In the home were Claude Bell(31 Head), Jessie Bell(28 Wife), Charles E Bell(6 Son), and Donna S Bell(2 Daughter)^[8]

1940 would have them living at 204 Sage Avenue in Poteau, Le Flore, Oklahoma. In the home were Claude A Bell(43 head), Jessie P Bell(39 Wife), Charles Bell(16 Son), and Donna Bell(12 Daughter)^[9]

By 1950 they were living at 428 E Wyndotte in McAlester, Pittsburg, Oklahoma and in the home were Claud A Bell(51 head), Jessie P Bell(48 Wife), and Donna Sue Bell(22 Daughter)^[10]

She died about the 2nd of Jan, 1995^[2], however find a grave states June of 1995 in Tulsa, Rogers County, Oklahoma and would be buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Poteau, Le Flore County, Oklahoma,^[11]
