Biography
When Sarah 'Sallie' Elizabeth Rainey was born on September 11, 1870, in Atlanta, Georgia, her father, James, was 24, and her mother, Mary, was 19. She married Isaac Richmond Sewell on April 30, 1893, in Cullman, Alabama. They had nine children in 15 years. She died on September 22, 1925, in Anderson, Alabama, at the age of 55, and was buried there.
