Jeremiah Rattle was born in Suffolk, England.
Jeremiah was born 1833 in Charsfield, Suffolk to James Rattle (abt.1802-1880) & Harriot (Davy) Rattle (1802-1870), baptism 30 Mar 1834 [1]
Jeremiah grew up in Hoo with his family [2] in 1851 he was a farm servant at the Hall, Letheringham [3]
Jeremiah Rattle married Emma (Read) Rattle (abt.1831-abt.1910) 20 Aug 1854 in Hoo, Suffolk.

The new family settled in Charsfield where Jeremiah was an agricultural labourer. [6] [7] in 1866 he was in trouble with the authorities for 'riding on shafts'. [8]
By 1881 he was a labourers carter in Pettistree, Woodbridge, [9] 1891 Ag Horseman / carter, at grove farm cottage, Wickham Market. [10] [11]
He passed away aged 78 in 1909. [12]
