Biography

Mary was born 1/25/1847 in Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of James Rea and Eleanor Kennard. In 1850 Mary was living with her parents and siblings in Salisbury, Lancaster, Pennsylvania where her father was a stonemason. Her mother died in 1852. By 1860 her father was remarried and the family was living in District 6, Cecil, Maryland. Mary married Jesse Milton Drennan some time before the birth of their first child in 1873. In 1880 Jesse and Mary were living with their children in Conowingo, Cecil, Maryland where Jesse was a miller. Mary was widowed in 1896. She died 2/27/1900 and is buried with family members in the Fremont Union Cemetery in Nottingham, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
