Biography
George Norman was born in Doagh in 1901. [1] He is the son of Robert B Robson and Alice Sloan.
In 1911 the family were living in Doagh Town, Robert B 49, National School Teacher, his wife Alice 45, both born in Co Down, and their children who were all born in Co Antrim. Their children were William 17, James A 14, Janie 12, G Norman 9 and Alice Mary 5. A nephew William Wright 17, who was born in Pittsburg America, an office clerk in a paper mill, was staying with them. Robert and Alice had been married 19 years with 6 children all alive. [2]
He passed away in 1975. [3] He is buried in Kilbride Cemetery.
