Frederick Robson was born on 4 May 1889 in Rockhampton. [1] [2] He was the son of William Robson and Emily Jane Black. [3]

Frederick Robson served in the Australian Imperial Force in World War 1 and attained the rank of Private. His enlistment date was 17 Sep 1914. When he enlisted, his address was Upper Dawson Road, Rockhampton, Queensland His next of kin on enlistment was: Mother, Mrs Emily Bull, Upper Dawson Road, Rockhampton, Queensland.
