Pennsylvanian Paul R. Rumbel 09/01/2005 Pennsylvanian Paul R. Rumbel, 103, of 624 Wilhelm Road, Harrisburg, died Tuesday, August 30,2005, at Hickory House Nursing Home, Honey Brook. Born in Ringtown, he was a son of the late Richard T. and Sarah Alice Michael Rumbel. He was the husband of the late Betty Irene Culp Rumbel, who died Nov. 1, 1983. He graduated in 1920 from Ringtown High School and in 1924 from Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster. He was a farmer most of his life, and after farming worked in the parts department at the farm equipment store for Harold Shappell. He is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Ringtown. Surviving are three daughters, Kathleen P. Wilbert, wife of Regis Wilbert, Mechanicsburg, Alice L. Hayduk, wife of Joseph Hayduk, Bufford, S.C., and Shirley J. Smith, companion of William H. Stauffer, Honey Brook; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson.
Funeral services and interment will be private. Labs Funeral Home Inc., Honey Brook, is in charge of arrangements.
