Biography

Robert Saltonstall was born at Salem, Massachusetts, in 1870, a son of William Saltonstall and Josephine Lee; he married Caroline James Stevenson at Boston on the last day of April, 1904. Several months after traveling by ship to California with Caroline and returning to their home at Milton, Massachusetts, he died there three days before Christmas of 1938.
