Thelma was born in 1920. She passed away in 2010.
She was born in Batesburg, SC, January 13, 1920. She was the daughter of the late James Quincy and Barbara Ann Gunter Seigler. Ms. Richardson was a member of the Sumter Garden Club and a Charter member of the Sumter Legal Auxiliary. She was a member of Holy Comforter Church.
She is survived by two sons, Henry B. Richardson Jr. and his wife, Martha, of Sumter, and Phillip C. Richardson and his wife, Sandy, of Sumter; four grandchildren, Henry B. "Burch' Richardson III, Elisa R. Walsh and her husband, Warren Walsh Jr., Phillip C. "Jay" Richardson Jr., and Christina C. Richardson; two great-grandchildren, Trip and Preston Walsh; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sen. Henry Burchill "Punch" Richardson, and four brothers, Milledge B. Seigler, Harold C. Seigler, Phillip Carlisle Seigler and Ray M. Seigler.
