Édouard was born on 9 August 1789. ^[1] He is the son of Édouard Synnott and Josephte Robert dit LeBreton. He was baptized on 26 August 1796 in Carleton. ^[2]

Mariage le 17 septembre 1814 avec Marie Françoise Leclerc dite Francoeur, fille d'Étienne Leclerc et Marie Chicoine. ^[3]
