Biography

Julia Ann Sennett is believed to have been born on 31 March 1869 (information from relatives) although no birth registration has been found for either Julia or her two oldest sisters.

In the 1871 and 1881 England Census records, Julia Ann appeared with her parents and siblings at Allerton Bywater (1871) and Great Preston (1881)

Julia Ann Sennett emigrated to the United States some time after 1881 and before March 1891. UK Incoming Passenger lists show her returning to England, arriving at Liverpool on 22 March 1891. There is also a record for her returning to the United States, with her younger sister Nora, arriving Philadelphia on 29 Oct 1896. Julia is listed as a "returning resident".

Julia Ann Sennett married John Thomas Clifford in about 1898. They then appear on the following US census records:
