Herbert Spencer Shepherd was born on 19 July 1921 at Gatton, Queensland, Australia. [1]
Herbert was the fourth son and fifth child of Jack Shepherd and the third son and sixth child of Mary Hirst.
Herbert had one half brother, three brothers and five sisters.
Herbert was a plumber and served with Australian Military from 28 August 1940 until 1946. [2]
Herbert married Kathleen Ellen (McDonald) Shepherd (1920-1997) on 17 June 1944 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. [3]
Herbert and Kathleen had three daughters and one son, according to Kathleen's gravestone. [4]
Herbert passed away on 5 September 1981 Maroochydore, Queensland, Australia. [5]
Herbert was buried at Buderim Crematorium and Memorial Gardens in Buderim, Queensland, Australia. [6]
Herbert also has a monument plaque at Queensland Garden of Remembrance, at Bridgeman Downs, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. [7]
