Biography
Leonard Christopher Sickler, son of John and Cordelia Jane (Sauer) (Kerbaugh) Sickler, was born on 11 Dec. 1872 in Bridgeton, Cumberland County, New Jersey.[1][2] He was baptized on 27 Oct. 1875 at St James United Methodist Church, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[3] He appeared on the census of 1 June 1880 in the home of his father and step-mother at Bellwood, Blair, Pennsylvania.[4]
He married Margaret Sutter Sunderland, daughter of Levi and Katharine (Sutter) Sunderland, on 5 June 1895 at Clearfield, Pennsylvania.[2][1]
Leonard died on 29 Sep. 1947 at Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland and was buried at Grandview Cemetery, Tyrone, Blair County, Pennsylvania. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
