Levi Bassett Sigler was born in 1802 in North Carolina.[1][2][3][4]
He first married Patsy Reed on 31 January 1822 in Caldwell County, Kentucky.[5] He was married 24 February 1829 in Caldwell County, Kentucky to Adah Beck [also known as Ada], daughter of Thomas Beck.[6]
Levi and Ada(h) had the following known children, all born in Hopkins County, Kentucky:
The 1830, 1840 and 1850 census records show Levi and his family lived in Hopkins County, Kentucky. The 1860 and 1870 census records show the family lived in the Providence area of Webster County, Kentucky. In 1860, Webster County, Kentucky was formed from parts of Henderson, Hopkins, and Union Counties. Providence was part of Hopkins County until 1860, when Webster County was formed.
Levi Sigler died in 1881 and a monument was erected in White Oak Cemetery in Webster County, Kentucky.[4]
