He married Leona Vera Walker on 29 July 1922, in Newport, Campbell, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. He lived in Newark, Licking, Ohio, United States in 1910 and Washington Township, Licking, Ohio, United States for about 10 years. He died on 10 March 1975, in Lee, Florida, United States, at the age of 85, and was buried in Evans Cemetery, Saint Louisville, Licking, Ohio, United States.
