In the 1860 census David Sigler (age 22) was an Apprentice in the household of A C Thompson, Cabinet Maker, in Corporation of Princeton, Caldwell, Kentucky, United States.^[1]

David was an active member of Princeton United Baptist Church. He was one of 14 remaining members in 1860 after a period of membership decline. He twice represented the church as a messenger to the Little River Association. He was a deacon and treasurer, and served on several church committees. He built two chairs and a pulpit stand that were still in use in the church in 2000 (then called First Baptist Church). He built and operated a furniture factory at 132 East Main Street in Princeton.^[2]

David Sigler served in the Union Army, 48th Infantry in the Civil War.^[3]

D. B. Sigler, son of Wm. H. Sigler & Pollie Brooks, died 04 Apr 1928 in Princeton, Caldwell, Kentucky, United States and was buried 06 Apr 1928 in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Princeton.^[4][5]
