Biography

Catharine was born in 1801. Catharine Singley was the daughter of Jacob and Maria Catharina Klotz Singley of Columbia County, PA. She passed away in 1858, and was buried at Quiggle Cemetery, McElhattan, Clinton County, Pennsylvania.^{[1] [2]}

Catharine was the wife of Johannes (John) Henninger. John and Catharine had twelve sons:

• Samuel David Henninger
• Jacob S. Henninger
• Andrew Henninger
• George Washington Henninger
• Amos Benjamin Henninger
• William Henninger
• Levi Henninger

Seven of the 12 sons fought in the Civil War.

John and Catharine Henninger did not have any daughters.
