Biography

Phoebe was born in 1846. Her Parents were Enos Griffith Skinner and Phebe Hannah Conner. The 1861 Canada West Census shows "Phebe" to be 16 Years old living with her parents in Beverly Wentworth ^[1] (Note trascription incorrectly shows her age as 11)

She married William Hogan in 1862. ^[2] They had three children. Her age was giver as 18 which is not consisten with other sources. it was likely that she was 15.

Phoebe passed away in 1869. ^[3] Pheobe died in childbirth while giving birth to twins; one of whom died within 10 minutes A remark given was that the doctor did not arrive in time. Her age is given as 22 years old.

She was buried at Camp Skinner Cemetery in Hamilton Ontario ^[4]
